CCU Participates in Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program

Salvation Army Angel Tree in NC

CCU is working with the Salvation Army and their Angel Tree program once again this year to help spread holiday joy! Each year, the Salvation Army reaches out to families in need and asks their wants and needs, and their wishes are fulfilled by kind members of their local community.

Due to varying restrictions in each of the communities we serve, however, this year’s program will be a little bit different depending on where you’re located.

New York and Pennsylvania
In NY and PA, there will not be any public participation. Although we are unable to offer member participation at our NY and PA branches this year, our teammates will be contributing, and the Salvation Army is still in need of items for area children and families. Please contact your local Salvation Army office to find out how you can help.

North Carolina
Our NC branches will be displaying trees with “Angel Tags” on them. Each tag represents a child in need in the community and includes a few items the child needs as well as some of their holiday wishes. The public is invited to come by any of our NC branches and select an angel tag, then bring back any new and unwrapped items to the same branch no later than Thursday, December 10.

Corning Credit Union strives to make the communities we serve and love better places for all of us to live, work and play. Help us make a child’s wish come true this holiday season!
