Call Center Representative

Financial Service Representative

Location: Wilmington, NC

Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced Financial Service Representative to join our growing Greater Wilmington, NC area team.

Financial Service Representatives are responsible for meeting a wide-range of member needs through the seamless integration of Lending and Membership. This role requires strong sales, service, and relationship building skills as well as the flexibility to provide exceptional, “one-stop” service to our members to meet all of their financial needs.

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or finance is preferred
  • Commensurate work experience considered
  • Prior/recent experience in Membership and Consumer Lending with loan approval authority required
  • The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge in Consumer Lending, Membership operations and regulations

    Consumer Loan Officer

    Location: Corning, NY or Wilmington, NC

    Corning Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer to work in our Lending Call Center. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, customer service, and analytical skills.     Responsibilities:

    The Loan Officer is responsible for gathering applicant information, reviewing and analyzing credit histories and making sound lending decisions. Other duties include providing exceptional service, support, and education to our members including recommending additional products and services to meet their financial needs.

    • Strong communication skills
    • Quality results mindset with strong analytical and judgment skills

    Network Administrator

    Location: Wilmington, NC

    Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator who will also provide assistance with cross functional support of servers and applications.

    The successful candidate will gain exposure and provide support to CCU’s data processing environment, which includes implementing tactical solutions, on-going maintenance, strategic planning and compliance from regulators, corporate leadership, and financial industry requirements.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • In-depth understanding of network architecture and protocols with exposure to enterprise level platforms.
    • Hands-on experience with switch and router configuration, preferably Cisco.
    • Ability to manage, maintain and upgrade information technology systems, such as; VoIP platforms, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, routers and wireless access components.
    • Ability to perform incident response analysis and root cause analysis through research and peer/vendor support.
    • Comfortable researching and analyzing system performance issues, new technology and technical, tactical and strategic solutions.
    • Possesses strong organization and time management skills and has the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload and projects.

    Desired Skills:

    • Firm grasp of systems virtualization technologies and experience supporting virtual servers, desktops and vendor supplied appliances.
    • Certifications related to networking technologies or other industry certifications.
    • Experience assisting with IT exams and audits.
    • Experience in documenting processes, procedures and technology standards.

      Facilities & Maintenance Representative

      Location: Wilmington, NC

      Corning Credit Union is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Representative who will be responsible for ensuring safe, sound and compliant facilities for our employees, members, and vendors. Individual should have experience performing common light duty maintenance tasks.

      Duties:

      • Must ensure safety, soundness, and assist in the upkeep and compliance for the organization which includes scheduling regular maintenance, testing and working with vendors
      • Performs light duty facility maintenance tasks which may include: furniture moves, cleaning spills, painting, assembling, minor plumbing repair, and other smaller scale upkeep items as needed
      • Assist the Facilities Manager with oversight of all building systems (HVAC, fire, security, elevators, electric, generators, plumbing)

      Skills required:

      • High level of initiative and flexibility including the ability to work nights and weekends when necessary
      • Able to multi-task and maintain organization when moving from one responsibility to another
      • Has a natural aptitude for mechanical technology and moderate construction and maintenance skills
      • Possesses solid computer skills and is experienced with various Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
      • Able to work with varying personalities to keep workflow moving in a timely fashion
      • 1–3 years related experience required
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
      • Current/valid driver’s license
